Here is the base performance of DynamoRIO on SPEC CPU 2000 on Linux, and a number of desktop and server benchmarks on Windows. Our worst cases are over 50% slowdowns, but the mean is about 10%, and we break even or even speed up a number of benchmarks. This is a pretty good base for a runtime tool platform.
